डॉन की एक रिपोर्ट में कहा गया है कि पाकिस्तान के पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री इमरान खान को इस्लामाबाद उच्च न्यायालय के बाहर गिरफ्तार किया गया है। खान की गिरफ्तारी की पुष्टि पाकिस्तान तहरीक-ए-इंसाफ के वकील फैसल चौधरी ने भी की। पीटीआई नेता फवाद चौधरी ने एक ट्वीट में कहा कि आईएचसी पर रेंजरों का कब्जा है और वकीलों को प्रताड़ित किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने गिरफ्तारी को अपहरण करार दिया। पीटीआई के अध्यक्ष खान को अलकादिर ट्रस्ट मामले में पेश होने के बाद पाकिस्तानी रेंजर्स ने हिरासत में ले लिया था।

Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has been arrested outside the Islamabad High Court, said a report by the Dawn. Khan's arrest was confirmed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawyer Faisal Chaudhry as well. PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet that the IHC has been occupied by the Rangers and lawyers are being subjected to torture. He denounced the arrest as an abduction. PTI chairman Khan was taken into custody by Pakistani Rangers after he appeared in the Alqadir Trust case.
