Humza Yousaf on Peter Murrell resignation

SNP Leadership candidate Humza Yousaf has said Peter Murrell did the right thing by resigning as SNP Chief Executive.

Peter Murrell, who is married to Nicola Sturgeon, said his future had become "a distraction" from the current contest to replace his wife as SNP leader and first minister following a damaging secrecy row to do with membership of the party.
