A huge fire has engulfed the security directorate of the city of Ismailia. It's on the west bank of the Suez Canal.

There are reports of casualties.
A number of people are believed to be trapped inside.
Ismailia is one of the key cities overlooking Egypt’s Suez Canal, a vital waterway between Asia and Europe that sees about 10 percent of the world’s maritime trade.
