The Hubble Space Telescope has taken over 1.5 million observations over the years. One of them is the incredible image of galaxy M87 and its giant jet.
M87, a massive elliptical galaxy in the Virgo Cluster, is famous for its prominent jet of high-energy particles and radiation that extends for thousands of light-years from its central supermassive black hole.
In this video, Dr. Padi Boyd explains this breathtaking image and how important Hubble is to exploring the mysteries of the universe.
