Now, women are now responsible for a third.
According to TD Wealth's Jo-Anne Ryan, women also tend to prioritize charities men might not necessarily. "A lot of money is going towards helping women, whether it's in shelters, who ended up trapped with their abusers in violent relationships," she said.
