The SBU, Ukraine’s security service, is arresting suspected Russian collaborators. Not all Ukrainians are against the invasion, especially those near Russia's border. Ukraine's new anti-collaboration law bans public support for Moscow. Ukrainian law says a suspect can be detained for up to 30 days without a court order. Human rights advocates worry that some of the arrests are unjustified. The government says security is more important than free speech in some cases. An unknown number of people are being entered into a 'registry of collaborators.' The SBU have detained almost 400 suspects. Some suspects are arrested for more serious allegations. Soldiers arrested a man who they say helped guide Russian artillery. Two people died in the shelling. The suspect's actions could result in a lifetime prison sentence.
