Despite a temporary truce in its war with Hamas, Israel says the war will continue until it reaches all of its goals — including dismantling Hamas completely in Gaza.
Israeli forces have been fighting their ground offensive in the north of Gaza, working south.
In recent days they've surrounded the Jabaliya refugee camp, which they claim is a Hamas stronghold. They already control the massive al-Shifa hospital complex and much of the coast in the north, and have pushed south of Gaza City.
