Hundreds of members of Sri Lanka’s Malayaha community have been walking for 250 kilometres.

They are retracing the steps of their ancestors, a largely-marginalised community who were known as Plantation Tamils.

Al Jazeera's Minelle Fernandez covered the final stages of the march in Matale, central Sri Lanka.
