The Toronto Blue Jays — and the team's fans — may have just had their biggest disappointment of the season, before it even began.

Baseball star Shohei Ohtani announced on Saturday that he signed with the L.A. Dodgers, striking one of the biggest contracts in pro-sports history.

As Mike Drolet reports, it turns out that all the Toronto speculation over Ohtani was off-base, turning buzz that seemed like a homerun on Friday to a hangover on Saturday.
