Sizzling temperatures are blanketing much of Canada with extreme weather warnings, especially parts of Southern Ontario and Quebec. Those provinces are entering a third day of intense heat, with humidity making it feel like 40 degrees Celsius.
Renters are among the most vulnerable during this extreme weather.
"Renters do not have the ability to affect the structure of the homes that they live in to the same degree that homeowners or condo owners do," Stewart Klazinga, ACORN Hamilton East End chapter chair, said.
