In India's northeastern state of Meghalaya, local and ethnic communities must traverse through thick rainforests to get around. But for years now, they've solved the problem themselves and built unexpected living bridges.

Seeing how valuable they are and how old they are, an association is now helping preserve these unique bridges, UNESCO is considering if it's time to call them a world heritage site.
