A House of Commons committee voted unanimously to investigate why the federal government paid McKinsey, the world's largest international management consulting firm, $100 million since 2015 for help devising public policy.

For years, Dominic Barton, a good friend of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, ran McKinsey.
