There has been an uproar on this issue since the first day of the monsoon session (July 20). Recently, a video of women being paraded naked and sexually assaulted in Manipur had also surfaced. After which anger was seen in the whole country. In fact, on May 3, a tribal solidarity march was taken out in protest against the demand of the Meitai community for granting Scheduled Tribe status in Manipur. After which caste violence broke out in the state. During this, more than 160 people have died so far and thousands of people have become homeless. The opposition says that the government has failed to stop the violence in Manipur. There is a deadlock between the opposition and the ruling party regarding this issue. After which the opposition parties came up with a no-confidence motion on Wednesday.
पर संसद में पीएम मोदी (PM Modi) के बयान और चर्चा की मांग कर रहे हैं. जबकि सत्ता पक्ष ने आरोप लगाया कि हम चर्चा के लिए तैयार हैं, लेकिन विपक्षी नेता ही भाग रहे हैं. इन सबके बीच बुधवार (26 जुलाई) को विपक्ष ने लोकसभा में सरकार के खिलाफ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव पेश किया. हालांकि मोदी सरकार इस अविश्वास प्रस्ताव को लेकर बेफिक्र नजर आ रही है. मणिपुर हिंसा को लेकर कांग्रेस और विपक्षी गठबंधन इंडिया के अन्य घटक दल पीएम मोदी से संसद में बयान देने और चर्चा की मांग कर रहे हैं. इस मुद्दे पर मानसून सत्र के पहले दिन (20 जुलाई) से ही हंगामा हो रहा है. हाल ही में मणिपुर में महिलाओं को निर्वस्त्र करके घुमाने और यौन उत्पीड़न का वीडियो भी सामने आया था. जिसके बाद पूरे देश में गुस्सा देखा गया.दरअसल, मणिपुर में अनुसूचित जनजाति का दर्जा देने की मैतई समुदाय की मांग के विरोध में तीन मई को आदिवासी एकजुटता मार्च निकाली गई थी. जिसके बाद राज्य में जातीय हिंसा भड़क गई थी. इस दौरान अब तक 160 से ज्यादा लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है और हजारों लोग बेघर हो गए हैं. विपक्ष का कहना है सरकार मणिपुर में हिंसा रोकने में विफल रही है. इसी मुद्दे को लेकर विपक्ष और सत्ता पक्ष में गतिरोध बना हुआ है. जिसके बाद बुधवार को विपक्षी दल अविश्वास प्रस्ताव लेकर आए.
