Homeland Security chief says 'direct line of sight' to Trump should not have occurred

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, who oversees the U.S. Secret Service, said Monday that the 20-year-old gunman who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump should never have been able to get a clear line of sight on the former president.
