Home Secretary Suella Braverman has called migration levels "unacceptable" and said "there is no good reason for anybody to get into a small boat to cross the Channel in search of a new life in the United Kingdom."

Ms Braverman discussed the Illegal Migration Bill, the evacuation of British nationals from Sudan and the government's key police recruitment target with Sky's Kay Burley.
