Hollywood writers, studios reach tentative deal to end strike

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has reached a tentative deal with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, ending nearly five months of historic strike action.

The WGA says the agreement is “exceptional, with meaningful gains and protections for writers in every sector of the membership.”
