An undercover officer who discussed the alleged kidnap, rape and murder of Holly Willoughby with security guard Gavin Plumb felt there was an "imminent threat" to the TV star.

A US police officer has told jurors he exchanged messages with Gavin Plumb and sent flight details and fake ID in a bid to gain his trust.

The officer said Mr Plumb was not simply acting out a fantasy and that he would have carried out the acts 'with or without his services'.
