A day after the heaviest snowfall in Shimla in nearly two decades in February, there was no electricity in life and traffic stopped on Friday. The meteorological department said 57 cm of snow fell in the state capital in February after 2002, the heaviest snowfall of a day.

शिमला में लगभग दो दशकों में फरवरी में सबसे भारी बर्फबारी होने के एक दिन बाद, जीवन में बिजली नहीं थी और शुक्रवार को यातायात बंद हो गया। मौसम विभाग ने कहा कि राज्य की राजधानी में 2002 के बाद फरवरी में 57 cm बर्फ गिरी, एक दिन की सबसे भारी बर्फबारी हुई।
