The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy snowfall for Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh even today. The hilly areas have been suffering with extreme winter conditions since more than a week now. On the other hand, Delhi will be witnessing rainfall today as well. The snowfall in hilly areas will affect the northern plains too.
