'Heroic' neighbours rescue man after house destroyed in gas explosion

A woman has died and a man seriously injured after a gas explosion at a house in Birmingham.

A number of neighbours, described as "heroic" by firefighters, went into the building when it was on fire.

A mid-terraced house was destroyed while six properties are "seriously affected". The man rescued has life-threatening injuries.
