As the fallout continues over CTV National News' host Lisa LaFlamme's dismissal, some brands have been showing their support, including Wendy's Canada changing its trademark mascot's pigtails to a shade of grey.
The dismissal raised questions about whether ageism and sexism played a role, especially after a report that a senior executive had asked "who had approved the decision to 'let Lisa's hair go grey.'"
But as Caryn Lieberman reports, while the social media response has been fairly positive, some experts warn some brands could face blowback for the move.
