Drone and ground footage shows the extent of widescale flooding across the state of Kentucky on Monday, March 1.
Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency on Monday, allowing him to mobilize state resources needed to support cities and counties impacted by the severe flooding.
The Kentucky National Guard has also been activated to assist with high water emergencies. Additional rainfall is forecasted, increasing the threat of more flash flooding.
