Heavy rain leads to flooding in parts of Quebec

Since the weekend, heavy rain has caused water levels to rise again in various parts of Quebec.

Several parts of the Greater Montreal area are on high alert.

Quebec's civil security says officials are monitoring several rivers and lakes across the province—with states of emergency declared in several municipalities, including in the Charlevoix, Lanaudiere, and Outaouais regions.

Though there have been reports of flooding, they have yet to see levels surpass the ones recorded in 2017.
