Heatwave: Risk of fire at highest level in parts of UK

The risk of fire is at its highest possible level in parts of England and Wales as extreme heat and dry weather continues.

An amber extreme heat warning is in place for parts of the country with high temperatures expected until Sunday.

It looks increasingly likely that an official drought will be declared in several regions of the country.
