A dry run for the COVID-19 vaccination was conducted across the country on Saturday to test the preparedness of the authorities before launching the actual vaccination programme. The nationwide rehearsal was to understand the best way to administer the vaccine and plug loopholes in logistics and training. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan reviewed the dry run exercise in a Delhi hospital and said there should be no misconceptions about the safety of the coronavirus vaccine that India plans to use as "everything has been checked in detail".
