Senator Rand Paul asked Antony Blinken, President Biden's nominee for secretary of state, was asked whether he's learned anything from the United States' wars in Iraq, Libya and Syria.

Blinken responded by assuring him that under the new administration, America's policy will be ‘diplomacy first’ and that ‘war and conflict will be the last resort.’ We'll soon see, won't we?
