A mysterious illness that has affected Canadian and American diplomats in Cuba may be linked to a top-secret unit within the Russian military, according to an investigation by CBS News, The Insider, and Der Spiegel.

That same unit is linked to high profile incidents such as the failed assassination of former Russian intelligence officer Sergei Skiripal in the U.K. in 2018.
