Harry Styles superfan attending concerts before losing her hearing

This Harry Styles superfan has a genetic condition that will cause her to lose her hearing. She’s attending as many of his concerts as she can before that happens.

Nicole Myers learned last year that she has neurofibromatosis type 2. The condition is causing tumours to grow on the auditory nerves in her brain.

“It makes me nervous. Music is a big part of my life,” Myers said.

The 23-year-old has travelled to Toronto, California and the U.K. to see Styles in concert. She said she wants to hear his music live while she still can.

Her mother, Catherine Myers, lost her hearing to the same disease.

She said she’s glad her daughter is finally living her dream of travelling the world to see Harry Styles.

“She’s a rock star. She’ll be just fine. Just like I am.”
