Presenter Trisha Goddard said the former Good Morning Britain anchor Piers Morgan should not have doubted Meghan Markle's claim she felt suicidal during her time with the royal family.

The Duchess of Sussex had told Oprah Winfrey she'd had suicidal thoughts but was refused help by Buckingham Palace.

Morgan quit GMB after saying he did not believe anything Markle had said - a claim which triggered a record number of complaints to the industry watchdog Ofcom.
