Yati Narsinghanand, the man who organised an event in Haridwar last month that had called for the genocide of Muslims, is now in judicial custody after his arrest yesterday. But the police today clarified that Narsinghanand aka Deepak Tyagi was arrested for misogyny and not his Haridwar hate speech. So the big question is why has the police charged this hatemonger with far milder charges, that are easily bailable?
