Hannah Waddingham spreads some holiday joy in "Home for Christmas”

The Morning Show’s Liem Vu is joined by Hannah Waddingham, who stars in a festive special called ‘Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas’ where she performs a slew of holiday classics like ‘Run Rudolph Run,’ ‘O Holy Night,’ and ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,’ among many others.

“I made it very clear that I wanted that whole section of ‘O Holy Night’ to be in the heart of the 45-minute show. My mum was a principal at Covent Garden before I was born at the Royal Upper House. She then gave up her career for 11 years – which for a performer is a long time.”

Waddingham says being able to “sing with the English National Opera Chorus – who are her (Waddingham's mother) her people and (for them) to offer themselves up – I couldn’t have a more beautiful moment to say thank you to her.”
