Hamas representative says Israeli attacks have destroyed 22 hospitals in the past month

Speaking to Al Jazeera from Beirut, Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan has commented on the joint Arab League and OIC summit in Riyadh.

He said there are three things that the Arab and Muslim leaders should focus on.

“First, to stop the Israeli attacks and genocide against the Palestinians,” he said, calling on countries to cut relations with Israel.

“The second point is to send humanitarian and medical aid and fuel,” he said. “And the third one, which is very important, is to talk with one voice that the Palestinian cause must be solved from the basis of the Palestinian rights, and not from any other basis,” Hamdan added.

“The peace process in the last three decades was built on the needs of Israel – and this is the cause of the failure.”
