There's been a surge in violence in Haiti's capital, with a top gang leader threatening to prevent Prime Minister Ariel Henry from returning to the country.
Henry is in Kenya, which had agreed to send police officers to Haiti as part of a UN-approved mission.
There was heavy gunfire and traffic disruptions in some areas of the capital Port-au-Prince on Friday.
Al Jazeera’s Rob Reynolds reports.
