If you go down to the woods today... make sure you’re able to make a hasty exit. That lesson was learned by a skier in Romania, after an encounter with an unexpected spectator, which came to watch the downhill action on the slope near the town of Predeal.

After failing to shoo the bear away, the skier decided to play it safe and retreat. Sadly, the bear took this as an invitation to start a game of tag and started running after its new playmate.

Luckily for the skier, the bear eventually found something more interesting and gave up the chase. Maybe he got bored, maybe he spotted something to eat, or maybe he just remembered where he’d left his car keys. Whatever the reason, it gave the skier a chance to make his escape.

Talk about ‘exit, pursued by a bear’…
