गुजरात की जनता ने पीएम मोदी की बात को सच कर दिखाया. मोदी ने चुनावी रैलियों से अपील की थी कि वो चाहते हैं कि नरेंद्र का रिकॉर्ड भूपेंद्र तोड़ें, तो ये बात बिल्कुल सच साबित हो रही है. भूपेंद्र भाई पटेल के नेतृत्व में बीजेपी ने अबतक की सबसे बड़ी जीत हासिल की है. रुझानों में भगवा पार्टी 156 सीटों पर आगे चल रही है. गुजरात में किसी भी पार्टी का ये अबतक का सबसे बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन है. इससे पहले 1985 में 149 सीटों के साथ ये रिकॉर्ड कांग्रेस पार्टी के पास था. वहीं साल 2002 में नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में बीजेपी ने 127 सीटों पर जीत दर्ज की थी.
