Sea evacuations have begun from a beach in Corfu to transport people fleeing wildfires, as up to 10,000 British tourists await repatriation flights on Rhodes.

The fires have led to one of the largest-ever evacuations in Greek history, with a total of approximately 19,000 people rescued so far.
