The Lahore High Court has invalidated the notification accepting the resignations of 72 members of the National Assembly from the PTI.

Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court ruled in favor of the petitions filed by Riyaz Fatiana and others, annulling the Election Commission's and the Speaker of the National Assembly's notifications accepting the resignations of 72 members from the Tehreek-e-Insaf.

The court has invalidated the resignation acceptance notification of several prominent members, including Fawad Chaudhry, Hamad Azhar, Shah Mehmood, Shafqat Mehmood, and Riaz Fatiana.
