As COVID-19 cases surge nationwide, California is being hit especially hard. Officials in the Golden State are looking to pinpoint cases at Amazon warehouses, asking how essential workers there will be protected.

RT America’s Natasha Sweatte takes a look at what the company is now proposing. Then as the vaccination rollout commences, surveys reveal a real hesitancy among minority communities, specifically among African Americans.

Pew Research found 42 percent of the Black community would be willing to receive the shot, while 61 percent of white people wanted the vaccine. This stems from a historic deep distrust in the government within the black community, especially as it pertains to Black people being used in medical experiments over the past few centuries.
