Israel called the attack a mistake, but John Flickinger, Jacob's father, explains to Global's Felicia Parrillo why he doubts that and what he hopes sharing his son's story will help do. Sylvia Labrecque, Jacob's mother, discusses how she will remember her son. And his partner, Sandy Leclerc, is thinking about what she will tell her 18-month-old son about his father.

In light of Israel's killing of seven World Central Kitchen members in the Gaza Strip, U.S. President Joe Biden is warning Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that future support for Israel depends on what it does to end the suffering and protect civilians in Gaza. Jackson Proskow reports on the pressure piling on Netanyahu to address Gaza's dire humanitarian situation.

Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) director David Vigneault has testified at the foreign interference inquiry that the agency had intelligence before Canada's 2019 election that China's government attempted to funnel about $250,000 through a network, possibly to interfere in Canadian elections.
