On tonight’s top story: The United States is recommending states to suspend the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after six women developed blood clots from getting the vaccine, and one of them died. But over 6.6 million people in the U.S. have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine already. Jackson Proskow reports.

With the first case of an AstraZeneca-related blood clot reported in Quebec, experts are still recommending people should get the first vaccine offered to them. Abigail Bimman reports on the increasing vaccine confusion among people and how the government is going to address it.

The federal government announced Monday nearly $6 billion financial support package for Air Canada, which includes billions of dollars to help the struggling airline rebuild from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mike Armstrong breaks down the deal, and what it means for Air Canada customers.

In Northern Ontario, Laurentian University announced Monday it had cut over 60 academic programs, in turn laying off dozens of professors, as the publicly funded institution struggles with insolvency. Plus, a new international study found that in the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic, suicide rates didn’t rise in many parts of the world.
