At #HandmadeDilSe telethon, Gita Ram, Chairperson, The Craft Council of India, stressed on the need to address the issue of marketing for artisans and craft persons to grow. Ms Ram noted that artisans have always been dependent on Bazaars and Hatts to sell their art but with the Coronavirus pandemic, there is no season for the market. Ms Gita believes that Habba initiative has brought a silver lining to heavy clouds as artisans are getting work.
