The country has added to its electricity generation capacity, thanks to a solar power project operated by Bui Power Authority. The 22 megawatts from the solar project, enough to power....was connected to the national grid on Friday. The power it generates will however be available only during the day when the sun is shining. Chief Executive of Bui Power Authority, Fred Oware tells JoyNews the ultimate goal is to scale up the solar plant to 250 megawatts.
