Georgia: Tens of thousands protest into the night

Tens of thousands of people protested into the night in Georgia, angry with the passing of a divisive new "foreign agents" bill, which critics believe will limit democratic freedoms.

Earlier in the day, riot police used tear gas and sprayed crowds with water cannon as they entered the grounds of the Georgian parliament in the capital Tbilisi.
