Georgia judge holds first hearing in Trump election subversion case

The judge overseeing the Georgia election subversion case has scheduled a hearing on whether to separate some of the trials of Donald Trump and the additional 18 defendants from the others

In an order scheduling the hearing, Judge Scott McAfee indicated he plans to ask the state for a good-faith estimate of the amount of time anticipated to present its case.
