The residents of the besieged enclave of Gaza faced a night of death and destruction as Israeli war planes launched a series of air strikes.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday vowed to reduce Gaza “to rubble” after Hamas’ unprecedented attack.
