G20 leaders back minimum corporate tax, still out on climate & COVID | DW News

G20 leaders have endorsed a minimum global tax rate of 15 percent for the world's biggest corporations. The tax deal was the headline from day one of the G20 summit in Rome. There was less agreement however on the two major global challenges topping the agenda: ensuring poor countries have access to COVID vaccines, and setting concrete targets to slow climate change. Demonstrators in the Italian capital were out in force to demand action.
