FULL SHOW: Nurses’ union calls on CDC to reinstate mask recommendation

The largest union of registered nurses in this country is calling on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to update its guidance and reinstate its recommendation that everyone wear masks in public. This comes as the number of COVID-19 cases grows. RT America’s Trinity Chavez has the story. (18:03)

New talks between the US and Iran are underway concerning a possible prisoner exchange. Iran says that they are aimed at securing the release of all Iranians held in the US for violating US sanctions. RT America’s Sayeh Tavangar has the latest. (1:01)

In Haiti, numerous arrests have been made in connection to the assassination of President Jovenal Moise. At least three of those arrested have been confirmed as US citizens, while many others have connections to the US, some reportedly as informants to federal agencies. Meanwhile, a delegation from the US is on the ground in Haiti meeting with interim leaders about a path forward.

Meanwhile, some are calling on President Biden to double down on sanctions and impose stricter measures on Cuba, while others want to return to Obama-era normalizing of relations. Former naval intelligence officer John Jordan and RT America's Rick Sanchez join a panel to discuss. (5:19)
