Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her fourth budget today with a speech shorter than her previous speeches. The big takeaways of the speech were - PM Gati Shakti driven by 7 engines on which the budget is based, boost in capital expenditure, enhanced government spending, no announcement on income tax slabs, announcement on digital currency and 30 per cent tax on digital asset.
