The head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group, Yevgeny Prigozhin says his forces now control most of the eastern Ukraine city of Bakhmut.
Once home to some 70,000 people, Bakhmut has been the focal point of fighting for months with Russia's forces desperate to capture it.
But with Ukrainian forces determined to hold on there the result has been massive casualties on both sides.
