French President Emmanuel Macron and Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu hold a news conference

French President Emmanuel Macron and Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hold a news conference in Jerusalem following a meeting.

Earlier today, Macron met with Israeli President Isaac Herzog. He also met with Israeli-French nationals who have lost loved ones in the Israel-Hamas war, as well as the families of hostages.

Mr Macron is visiting the country to show France's solidarity and work on the release of those captured by Hamas.
